About
Marcia Mitchell Watercolors
Charlottesville VA
Bio: I paint large and not-so-large watercolors of plants and flowers, always painting from the live plants, as the seasons change. I prefer to paint from plants I've grown myself, but sometimes that isn't possible, and then I search roadsides, other people's gardens (with permission), and even florists' displays.
Lovely work – I look forward to seeing more as you post.
I’m glad to have found your work, and look forward to seeing more of what you do and how you do it.

Your work is lovely!!!
Thanks, Pam! I am interested in participating in CVWG, but my solo show at McGuffey in June has me overwhelmed right now. I’m grateful for your kind words, and hope to
meet you soon.

I’m not sure what painting you’re thinking of. Where did you find the work? I’ll look for the file but a little more info would help.
I see several of your watercolors at Northside library when I come here, and they sure are nice–I dig your hellebores the most right now. Thank you.
Thanks Michael! I’m fond of those hellebores too. Maybe I’ll see you at the Library before the show closes on Feb. 29.
Hi Marcia, I discovered your paintings outside of the SCT unit on the 8th floor of the UVA medical center. I see that you are local and wondered if I could find any of your work in any of the local shops? I would love to find one of your larger watercolors. Do you have anything available?
